Constitutional Medicine: Digestive and Circulatory

Download slides for the presentation here.

Constitutional Medicine Part 3 takes a deeper look into constitutional subtypes and the Hematogenic Constitution.

Every day we walk the path of our genetics, otherwise experienced as our inherited strengths and weaknesses. It is possible to predict how these weaknesses will develop as disease in the body. Constitutional Medicine provides the tools to prevent disease and interrupt disease patterns before they manifest into symptoms.

The liver, lymphatic, and immune systems are foundational in constitutional medicine. Join Henrietta De Jong, RN, as she increases your understanding of the three constitutions (lymphatic, hematogenic, and dyscratic). You will discover the connections between the liver and skin conditions, the liver and digestive pain & IBS, and the liver and congestion of the venous circulatory system. She will discuss the constitutional subtypes (liver, spleen, kidney), with a focus on the liver, gallbladder, digestion and venous circulation. Henrietta will provide tools to address the digestive and circulatory system and build protocols to optimize patient health.

    Practical discussion for:

    • Overview of Constitutional Medicine
    • Review of Constitutional Types
    • Focus on the Hematogenic Constitution
    • Constitutional subtypes: liver, spleen, kidney
    • Liver, gallbladder, digestion, venous circulation
    • Protocols for digestion and circulation (liver, gallbladder, IBS, GI and skin conditions, varicose veins)
